I'm still here!

Hello again! I have obviously been neglecting this blog.
I have been busy coming up with new work.
The process I use is called "sgrafitto".
I first put down a layer of colored slip or underglaze then carve or scratch away the slip revealing the white clay body underneath.
This is very much the same process employed in woodcuts or linocuts.
Each piece is unique.
